2016 Florida Counseling Association Leadership Development Institute Counselors United: One Mission of Connection, Compassion and Community

Carolyn Jones, a leader in career counseling, teams, and leadership, facilitated the 2016 Leadership Development Institute that was held on June 17 and 18, 2016. The two-day event focused on the collective leaderships strengths and how they, as leaders of the FCA, can work together to advance the counseling profession in the State, Country and world!

Her focus was on "Strengths Finder 2.0. Each participant received the Tom Rath book "Now...Discover Your Strengths; Strengths Finder 2.0", completed an assessment online, and participated in a rewarding session over the two day period. They also received a detailed assessment report of their top talents with suggestions on how to use these talents to enhance the team approach they currently use. A successful and powerful program!

Mrs. Jones is the current President of the Florida Career Development Association, Chair of the National Career Development Association Ethics Committee, and President/CEO of CDJ Consulting, LLC.
